Just wanted to make a quick note to keep you up to date with the market. The market in this area seems to have stabilized.
Homeowners are happy with the prices they are getting for their homes and understand that the market is not as brisk as it was last year. Last year was very unusual and it is a market we may never see again. It happened quickly with an over population of buyers and few sellers which caused a feeding frenzy.
Now, we have an abundance of homes on the market and we have buyers who are being selective in what they are buying. The consumers are taking more time to choose a home since there are more choices and options. Sellers still need to be very competitive since there is still new construction going on in the various areas. Builders are offering "incentives" for buyers to purchase their product instead of them going to a resale product.
