Littlestown

In August you will welcome the Good Ole Country Days as the town is pasted with vendors showing their wares.  This occurs usually in the middle of the month on a Saturday and lasts all day.

This town is part of Adams county and is serviced by the Littlestown School District.  Once mostly farmland, you will now find this town sprouting and spreading its branches.  New developments are springing up all around because of its proximity to the Maryland line.  This was once considered a bedroom community, since so many of its residents work in Maryland, which is just about 30 minutes to the south.

Being a small town you will not find a whole lot of shopping here.  You will find the grocery store, medical facilities, some restaurants, but that is about it.  Entertainment will be found in the nearest towns of Hanover, Gettysburg and Westminster.

The school system is very active and keeps the children quite busy.
A newly formed Chamber of Commerce was formed for the coming growth of this small community.

Hillcrest Restaurant has been in this area for what seems like forever.  They are known for their hospitality and Broasted Chicken. Good home cooking at very reasonable prices. Located on Route 97N.

If you are looking to be close to Maryland, this may be the town for you.
